Royals Rock Italy: 20 Years & Counting

On April 9, 2025, King Charles III and Queen Camilla, the current monarch and consort of the United Kingdom, were engaged in a state visit to Italy, coinciding with their 20th wedding anniversary. This visit, spanning from April 7 to 10, 2025, was notably King Charles’ first overseas trip of the year following a brief hospitalization due to side effec ts from his cancer treatment. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen diplomatic ties between the UK and Itly, with a series of engagements in Rome and Ravenna.
